'FOLLOW'

PHILADELPHIA, PA— Highly accomplished musician Stephen Marmel introduces his expert finger-picking acoustic guitar stylings, instrumental compositions and heartfelt song-writing on his premiere solo project, FOLLOW. Composed and arranged by Stephen, FOLLOW is the first CD produced by his independent company, Marblestone Productions. The ten songs on the CD feature his extraordinary lyrical genius complimented by his colorful musical performances on an impressive array of instruments including guitar, flute, harmonica and percussion.
"This work opens the door for years of compositions that have surfaced as I have heard them in my spirit. It also creates new space for future works which will be filled with conscious lyricism, light, love and expressions of Self," says Stephen, a Philadelphia born singer-songwriter who has strong ties to the area's folk music communities.
Stephen was recently selected by an exclusive juried panel to be a showcased performing artist at the 2000 North Eastern Regional Folk Alliance Conference. Stephen also has been a featured performer at the '97, '98 & '99 Philadelphia Fringe Festivals and was invited to be a featured Fringe Artist for Fox's Extra Friday Celebration. Stephen can be heard on WXPN 88.5, Philadelphia's premier member supported radio station out of University of Pennsylvania and was featured in an invitation only performance on WXPN's 'Live At The Writers House' broadcast.
Stephen currently brings his soulful performances to Philadelphia area venues and plans performances in New York, Baltimore & Washington D.C.
